Over The Moon Media provides all the essential services of advertorial marketing: copy-writing design, traffic, media placement and tracking. We oversee the essentials of creating the advertorial; working with our clients to come up with a compelling headline and story for the advertorial based on our knowledge of the needs and concerns of the newspaper audience and client knowledge of product attributes and efficacy. We then work with our creative director to produce compelling headline treatments that include story outlines and even prospective photos, graphs and charts that will draw the reader in to the story. We may produce several ad treatments before sending the final approved copy to the designer to create the newspaper article look and feel of the finished piece.
After that we work closely with the call centers to obtain phone numbers and/or identifying ad codes to effectively track where response is coming from. Effective tracking is a fundamental element to the success of a campaign, through the building of an accurate database of media performance. We then recommend a media plan based on our own successful past histories with particular publications and also taking into account any client provided demographic, geographic or psychographic profile of the current customers. We then take finished and coded artwork and distribute or “traffic” the artwork electronically to the recommended publications. Finally, once the ads begin running, we receive sales and response data daily from the call centers and issue performance reports that assess the strength of the campaign. We look at key ingredients beyond just profit/loss of each ad. This includes cost-per-call, conversion rates, average order value, cost per sale and revenue per call. The daily tracking and performance reporting gives our customers a daily and campaign wide overview of what is happening.
